Paris

4 am, lighly frazzled. In the dark depths of an old theatre in La Marais. Slow, drained music. Chandeliers, dark velvet curtains and over-decorated wrought iron railings. Plush sofas draped with the happy dregs of a Paris night.
Cafe hopping along the Seine on a sunny August day. Blue sky and cream facades. The Jardin de Luxembourg adorned with chess player, pigeon and refined exuberence. Unending grandeur until my feet ache.
To my pleasant surprise, the city captured me. Many thanks to Shatyn, the inciteful eye-opening host.
